Wellness for all - Achieve Optimal Health Series

Description:  This is your time...  Come and experience simple interventions that will help you de-stress, chill out and go back to work refershed.  The demands on you in caring for your patients can take a toll on you, your energy, and well-being.  Your patient's crisis can become your crisis if you are not careful and take time to clear yourself from the demands on you in sharing difficult news during difficult times.

Goal:  Become balanced and revitalized.  Learn strategies to drain away sad stories, emotional pain and suffering as well as physical demanding experience.  Go home refreshed and ready to be present for your family and friends.

Objectives:  Participants will be able to:

1.  Explore a sampling of related theory and research supporting energy therapies.

2.  Define your current work stress level through a simple, non-invative story telling process.

3.  Identify the impact on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self.

4.  Practice holistic interventions to release stress, balance your energy and revitalize you both at work and before going home.

5.  Examine ways to present difficult news to patients and their families.

6.  Explore strategies to debrief the dynamics of a demanding work life.

Format: The Wellness For All - Achieve Optimal Health Series draws on material from the following leading edge energetic based training programs: Transform Your Life through Energy Medicine (TYLEM), Healing Touch (HT), Energy Psychology (EP) and Touch For Health (TFH).
